1. Acceptance and eligibility
By registering for a Zvelto account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and authorised to bind your business entity to this agreement. By placing an order, requesting a reservation or leaving feedback through a restaurant's website that uses Zvelto, you agree to the parts of these terms that apply to that use.
2. Licence and restrictions
Zvelto grants restaurant operators a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal business use. You agree not to sublicense, reverse-engineer, or scrape the platform.
3. Account security and activity monitoring
You are responsible for your account credentials. You acknowledge that Zvelto monitors operator session activity and "heartbeat" signals strictly for security and administrative presence visibility. Attempting to bypass these security signals may result in account suspension.
4. Ordering, reservations and feedback
Where a restaurant offers online ordering through Zvelto, orders placed on that restaurant's website are cash-on-delivery or pay-at-counter only: Zvelto does not process online payment for these orders today, and no deposit is taken for reservation requests.
Menu prices shown to customers in the EU are inclusive of VAT: the price displayed is the price you pay. The restaurant, not Zvelto, fulfils your order or reservation, handles payment at pickup, delivery or on arrival, and issues any required fiscal receipt.
Zvelto passes your order or reservation details to the restaurant so it can be fulfilled and, where relevant, forwards them to the restaurant's own staff notification channel (see our privacy policy).
5. Data and AI features
- Ownership: you retain ownership of your uploaded business data. Zvelto retains all intellectual property in the platform and its AI models.
- AI recommendations: Zvelto provides suggestions based on menu and review data. These are tools for informed decision-making; you are responsible for the final implementation and the resulting business outcomes.
- Future automation: if you enable an automated optimisation feature in the future, you acknowledge that it may update menu items or pricing directly. Zvelto is not liable for fluctuations in margins or guest feedback resulting from automated changes you have authorised.
6. Billing and payments
Operator subscription payments are processed via Stripe and renew automatically.
Refund policy: Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. Discretionary refunds may be considered case by case but are not guaranteed.
7. Limitation of liability
- Cap: our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- Exclusions: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Statutory rights: nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, per the UK Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
8. Availability
We provide no uptime SLA for the free tier. We reserve the right to suspend accounts for non-payment or violation of these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
